After 17 years practice in London, Amanda is pleased to have moved to Bristol and joined Unity Street Chambers. She is busy continuing family law and her civil litigation practice and discovering the courts in the west country.

Amanda has many years experience of family law covering all types of cases. This includes care proceedings, Children Act proceedings, adoption, civil partnerships, child abduction, injunctions and matrimonial finance. Amanda's work includes complex care cases representing parents, children or other joined parties. These include cases of non-accidental injury, substance misuse, neglect, mental illness and sexual abuse, often where there are many experts. Also cases involving culture such as traveller communities and refugees where placement is crucial.

Amanda also practises civil work with emphasis on housing, small claims, personal injury and employment.

She is hardworking and thorough in her work and finds the challenges of family law rewarding.
