Lucy joined Unity Street Chambers following the successful completion of her pupilage. Throughout her practicing six she built a strong practice, with particular emphasis on personal injury and employment work. She has proved very popular with lay and professional clients alike and is rapidly developing a reputation for her keen eye for detail and thorough approach.
Before coming to the bar, Lucy spent a year working in investment banking in Central London. She studied the Bar Vocational Course at BPP in Holborn, having been awarded a Prince of Wales Scholarship from Gray’s Inn in 2008. Following the completion of her vocational training in 2009, Lucy was further supported by Gray’s Inn under the Stage scholarship program, living in the Hague whilst undertaking an internship with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia assisting senior defence counsel in the Lukic Appeal (IT-98-32/1-T).
Prior to embarking upon pupilage at Unity Street, Lucy was awarded a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship Grant in 2010 and travelled Australia and North America for 6 months researching minimal acrimony litigation tools and dispute resolution programs in private family law child cases.
