Caroline splits her time between teaching criminal litigation, advocacy and ethics on the BPTC at BPP in Bristol and maintaining her criminal and regulatory practice.
Caroline has recently returned to chambers after leaving her role as an employed barrister within the Safety, Health & Environment team of DAC Beachcroft.
Whilst there Caroline regularly represented companies and individuals at court and appeared on their behalf at inquests.
In the last 12 months Caroline was junior in two high profile gross-negligence manslaughter trials one being the bath tipper truck trial in which four people died.
Caroline has worked within the criminal justice system for 15 years, first within the Crown Prosecution Service, then at the independent bar and more recently in-house as an employed barrister providing her with a wealth of experience and is at ease representing both large corporate clients and individuals.
