Practice
Gareth joined Unity Street Chambers in 2007 after leaving the British Army. He has a rapidly developing practice in both civil and criminal law.
In the civil courts, Gareth has appeared for both claimants and defendants in small claim, fast track and multi-track trials. His practice comprises a broad spectrum of personal injury work as well as regularly appearing on behalf of independent schools and advising on all areas of education law.
In employment law, Gareth acts for both claimants and respondents, and has appeared in tribunals in relation to unfair dismissal and redundancy matters as well as age, disability and race discrimination claims.
Gareth also appears on a regular basis in the criminal courts and acts both for the defence and the prosecution. He has recently had conduct of burglary, dangerous driving and assault trials in the Crown Court.
